the room was spacious and had high ceilings, i adored this. the bath felt luxurious, it invited long soaks after days exploring. the building's decor had so much character, it felt very romantic. staff were also very kind and helpful, they helped.
the wifi signal was unfortunately a bit weak at times, i found.

historic charm and superb staff

I booked directly with the hotel and paid a reasonable price. the building has high ceilings and grand features. the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. I appreciated the good-sized towels. i got a quiet room, amazing given the central location.
the room was very basic, and i felt the photos did not accurately represent it. the building is fabulous, but it needs some money spent on it.

the room had tea and coffee facilities. fluffy towels were in the nice bathroom. it also had a comfy bed. the church bells in the morning were lovely to hear from our room.
